Dear TSA, please give my hairbrush back...

I should start by saying I don't really hate the TSA--I'm not often enough of a traveler to be inconvenienced by the security checkpoints multiple times a week...

However. On my last trip, I noticed at my destination that my hairbrush was missing. No worries, I probably just left it at home. But dang, no hairbrush! Anyway, a quick trip to the local CVS fixed that. I had a trip brush. One that I can keep in my luggage for the next trip. Whenever it occurs...

Fast forward 5 days. Now I'm home. First thing I do (don't ask!) is look for my hairbrush. I can't find it. It's not in the drawer in the bathroom. It's not in my bedroom. It's not in the spare bedroom. It's not even in the kid's room. So where the f'ing hell is my hairbrush??

There's only one explanation. I didn't forget it. Instead, it got bootlegged by the TSA. Why take a hairbrush? Who knows. But I'd love to have it back... Anyway. This whole episode brought to mind one of the Veggie Tales songs. Enjoy...

  1. That was awesome!!! The hairbrush song. Never knew it existed. Couple thoughts on that:

    1. Why would Larry need a hairbrush? Um, no hair.
    2. How do you know about this song? Cant all be due to the kid.
    3. The Peach has a mane. Great hair.
    4. The TSA. Did you have a hollow handle on your hairbrush where terrorist could smuggle explosives?
    5. If you brought one from CVS, why was the first thing you did when you got back was look for a hairbrush?

    Oh where is my hairbrush?
(he's almost 11 now, it almost 5 years ago.)

I won't rant about the TSA. short thought...TSA is protecting us from us one hairbrush at a time!

  3. I once opened my suitcase to find the handle of my hairbrush no longer connected to the actual hairbrush. I decided it was because it was a gel handle.
