I am a huge Clint Eastwood fan. Even the early campy, corny spaghetti westerns. =) So when I first heard of Gran Turino, I was very interested. Then when I heard the premise of the story, I wasn't quite so sure. There's only so much racism a person wants to watch, if you know what I mean.
But I put it on my Netflix list, and it finally showed up last week. And we got around to watching it on Friday night. And I liked it. Clint does the grumpy growly cranky old man very well, indeed. And I like the redemption factor in the story, as well as the fact that there were so very many Asian actors.
